Tomorrow to fresh woods and pastures new……

April 3, 2011

Well, folks, that’s it.Time to move on to “pastures new”. I have just signed off from my year-long study of the dramatic and disruptive symbolic impact of the 2010/11 Jupiter/Uranus conjunctions on the  lives of ten volunteers from across the world who generously shared the details of their lives so that the rest of us could have a vivid picture of astrology in action. To read the final article, with details of  the archive which I have left  for the future benefit of  astrology students, click on

Jupiter Uranus mission complete!

Quite a number of readers have asked me about MY Jupiter/Uranus year 2010/11: what disruptions and changes have come my way? I said I would not say anything about my own life until the end of the project.

Given the conjunction sextiling the MC/North Node, and squaring a natal Mars/Uranus conjunction in the 10th, the answer is – quite a few!

Anne W's Horoscope

Anne W's Horoscope

Firstly, my husband and I have unexpectedly become grandparents, our granddaughter having been conceived during the week of the Jupiter/Uranus conjunction in Aries in early June 2010. There are various complexities of geography attached to this happy event…..

Then – I am off to be a student again in the autumn of 2011, studying as a Visiting Student at a distinguished Scottish university. And who knows what else may arise therefrom?

So there it is. Grateful thanks to all the many readers of this blog, which is now an extensive article archive. I do hope you will keep dropping by and dipping in! It has been a privilege and a great pleasure to write for you those last three years. Thank you so much for your comments and emails which have often been both uplifting and inspiring. I do hope many of you will continue with me when the new phase starts up in Autumn 2011!

Do drop in on the other blog archives Jupiter Meets Uranus, MoreBitsFallOff.com– and my on-line book Wisps from the Dazzling Darkness– a sceptic’s take on paranormal experience.

Au Revoir!

Anne, thank you for all your work on this project. You’ve left a valuable resource for all of us–there is nothing more poignant, nor more awe-inspiring, than astrology in action. This record of a volatile time will be read for centuries to come. Hope your new pastures and your woods are green, fresh, and welcoming. Dawn

Well Anne, another door opens and life goes on in a new quest for knowledge. Good luck and courage in these unpredictable times

  6. Thanks Pam! “Unpredictable” would appear to be the key word for our current times, both collectively and personally…..

  7. from ‘Doreen’ by email 5.4.11:

‘….yes, the Jupiter/Uranus has brought about unexpected turmoil from home and abroad for me. I think it is so typical of these planets and I will enjoy reading about this from my learned friend ..You.. Your knowledge and understanding of what’s out there to bite us in the bum when we are not looking has always intrigued and excited me….’

  8. If biting students’ bums thereby infecting them with knowledge isn’t what education is all about, I know not what is!

Thanks for this left field affirmation, Doreen…x

  9. Congratulations on becoming a grandparent :-) Thank you for all your wonderful writings. I still have much to catch up on. I can’t wait to see what your new blog is about!
